Specifically for our overseas visitor Cycletours has set aside a special selection from our standard variety of trips. Active in Europe offers you the crème de la crème of the most inviting, beautiful and interesting countries and regions in Europe. This website details our selection of fantastic trips, from the Danube Valley in Austria to the white villages in Andalusia.

With a single trip to the south of France, Cycletours began its enterprise in 1981. Today well-established and much expanded, Cycletours can offer its customers 200 different vacation trips in 35 countries: from Mexico to China and South Africa to Norway. As you can see, the wide range of vacations available is extremely diversified. Options exist to suit both the recreational and the more advanced cyclist as well as for those preferring to travel within a group or individually. Furthermore, trips have also been designed for active senior citizens, parents with small children and young individuals.

Cycletours Holland originated in 1989 as the organizer of Bike & Boat vacations, especially designed for the overseas tourist wanting to discover Holland. You may have already participated in such a trip. One of these Bike & Boat trips is featured in Active in Europe’s current program – the ‘Danube’ tour in Austria.

Our 25 years worth of experience have taught us exactly what the cycling tourist requires: attractive bicycle routes, comfortable quarters with quality food and luggage transport, a sturdy bicycle of the right size, a clear itinerary, and for the groups, a competent guide to assist with technical problems. All the guest has to do is keep the pedals moving round and admire the view - Cycletours will do the rest. We have a staff of 20 employees in Amsterdam constantly working to ensure your satisfaction.
